Finally got around to seeing Wolf of Wall Street. All in all, it was OK. To paraphrase Winnie Cooper, I liked it, but I didn't like like it. My wife thought the Lemon 714 fight over the phone scene was hilarious. She was guffawing.

Don't Eat the Daisies

David Niven, Doris Day

Say what you will, but Doris Day was fine looking.

Watched the Judge last night. Thought it was pretty good, Downey Jr and Robert Duvall were solid as was the rest of the cast.

6.5/10
I liked the movie, too. I'm surprised you're only giving it a D.

I watched Theory of Everything. A very Britishly subdued movie that moves like a dream sequence at times and goes out of its way to avoid most of the highs and lows of marriage, relationships, having kids, having fame, having intelligence, etc. The movie is very tight and focuses on the one relationship in relation to God and chaos coexisting. It all comes off as a lightweight date movie that makes you feel glad that you aren't Stephen Hawking and you'll want to go outside and make the most of your youth.

I'd give it a B.

By 6.5 out of 10, I meant C+/B-

I watched "Interstellar" last night. I liked the story, but it did drag along. I think it could have been well done in 1:45-2:00 instead of almost 3 hours.

Watched 'Jersey Boys' last night. Saw it at the theater when it came out.
Being an 'old guy', I loved Frankie Valli and this movie was great.
I really liked how one of the actors would 'break character' all of a sudden and talk to the audience and explain stuff.
give it an 8.5/10

I saw Fast Seven.

Basically this movie is for people who like Bad Boys 2 and for people who like Hot Fuzz. Probably the best fight scenes in any Fast movie and the ending was much better than I thought it would be. Still, the series is too totally ridiculous to grade so Ill just put them in order of preference:

1, 5, 7, 4, 2, 6, 3

I think I have only seen 1 and 2. Seemed pretty stupid to me, but I have been interested in binging the whole series sometime soon.

"Allies" on Netflix. I've had a WWII fascination lately (reading, movies, documentaries). It was okay. Lots of action.

I finally got around to watching Interstellar. Overall, I liked it (didn't love it).

Note to those who've yet to see it: Anne Hathaway does not have a nude scene.
