Quantamania

Absolute shit show. It didn’t know if it wanted to be a live action movie or a cartoon. If it were a cartoon, maybe I would have forgiven some of its clear plot holes and story illogicalities. But as it was, it was almost as bad as Thor L&T.

We watched antman1, 2 and 3 back to back to back in the same 2 weeks. Holy fuck was the 3rd one bad. First two were pretty great.

my problem with Air was the credits... why did it have to be all about Michael.. the movie was not about him... there was no reason to do a jordan love piece at the end and in the credits...

its funny... I grew up in the 90's so i was a big Bulls fan... Loved michael... after the LAST DANCE documentary, i really started to hate him... and now i hate any time people talk about him... he somehow became one of least favourtie PEOPLE in US history...

Weird. The Weird Al Yankovic movie. It had a few spots that were funny, but overall it was very forgettable.

Asteroid City.. 1st movie I've seen in a theater in about 4 years. I wasn't bored.. there were many interesting scenes and good performances, but I'm not sure what it was about. If you like Wes Anderson movies you'll probably like it. But it was not as good or thematically coherent as most of his others.

Pointless. Not necessarily bad, just totally and utterly pointless. Bad CGI. Bad characters. Forgettable dialogue. No reason, whatsoever to remember this movie. It just was.

That said, it was OK popcorn fare. Don’t go out of your way to see it (and I mean ANY inconvenience at all, feel free to skip it), but if it falls in your lap, and you have 2.5 hours to kill, you can do worse.

Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)

I’m a huge Andy Samberg fan. This movie had some funny moments but is pretty short and somewhat forgettable outside of some of the songs. The Mona Lisa song is great if you listen to it in its entirety. Lots of big names in the music world make an appearance.

Surprisingly decent flick. The basis of the story is a bit Deux Machina, but if you can get past that, it is satisfying.
