That graphic wouldn't equate it to being one of the three worst movies of '18 would it?

I was being liberal with the "one of the greatest movies of the decade" tag. I gave The Big Short 4/5 stars. I looked at my film database to answer your question. There are three movies of this decade I've given 5/5 stars, so I ranked them in order. There are 21 movies I've given 4.5/5 stars of this decade, so I picked the best seven of those to get 10 movies this decade. In order:
1. Arrival
2. End of Watch
3. Wind River
4. Hell or High Water
5. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
6. Shutter Island
7. Prisoners
8. The Hateful Eight
9. Flight
10. The Revenant

I'm a sucker for a wwii flick, and to see how much the father of modern computing contributed to the effort, captivated me. But as always ymmv.Imitation Game was good, but it didn't really captivate me. No real qualms about it, though I have only seen it the one time.
Never seen Hidden Figures.
What is this a list of?In no particular order (and if I were to make this list tomorrow, it would probably be different)...
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close
Wolf of Wall Street
Birdman (not that I necisarily enjoyed it, but it was an achievement in film making)
Boyhood (see Birdman)
Kingsmen
John Wick
Ted
Baby Driver
Whiplash
Cabin in the Woods
Honorable mention...
Concussion
Infinity War
Lucy
Big Short
American Hustle
Top 10 of the decade. That is what has been talked about for the last 10 posts or so...What is this a list of?
Personally, I find the Jack Ryan movies a little overrated. Patriot Games is good, but not great. Clear and Present Danger is easily the better of these two. Shadow Recruit was meh. Sum of All Fears was... mediocre I thought. To each their own.
The Jack Ryan Amazon series is ok, but again, nothing amazing.
Didn't know when it started and it's a huge thread.Top 10 of the decade. That is what has been talked about for the last 10 posts or so...
I thought the site I was looking at said 2009. I'd probably slide up Moneyball then.Ah, if I would've gone back to 2008 then The Dark Knight would probably be #1 or #2. I think I've seen that at least eight times.
2009 isn't in this decade bruh.My best movies between 2009-2018 would be:
1. The Social Network
2. Public Enemies
3. I, Tonya
4. Birdman
5. American Hustle
6. Wolf of Wall Street
7. Dunkirk
8. Martha Marcy May Marlene
9. Bridge of Spies
10. Hail, Caesar!
OJ Made In America probably blurs the line a little bit as its a mini-series documentary but if that counts then it would be my #1. There are some movies I still need to see from 2017 and 2018. 2017 in general was pretty stacked.
I think The Social Network is basically the perfect Gen X movie.
Do you know what the term 'decade' refers to?I thought the site I was looking at said 2009. I'd probably slide up Moneyball then.
