Point Break (2015) I had super low expectations. Forget the fact it's supposed to be a re-make. If it was titled some else (Sucks Big Balls) It's just a big pile of shit on it own.
You really list Spider-Man 3 as one of the worst superhero movies of all time? Really???Saw the newest Fantastic Four.
Possibly the worst dialogue in any modern movie. Im not sure you lose anything at all if you watch this movie on mute. The actors are theoretically all good but none of them are exciting or entertaining in the least bit. It would be like casting Michael Fassbender as Iron Man instead of Robert Downey Jr. Super hero movies are supposed to be fun. Instead we get a diverse cast of cardboard cutouts. Whats really embarrassing in a movie trying to be diverse is the fact that their is basically only 1 woman in the whole movie so naturally they give her every Hermione Granger cliche they can on top of the female computer hacker cliche.
The movie is visually appealing with solid special effects but they are sparse enough to really only give you a light taste as to what the Fantastic Four can actually do. You get maybe 30 minutes of Saturday Morning Cartoon and 1h 15min of filler.
Its not a complete embarrassment of a movie like Spiderman 3 or Catwoman but it does literally nothing to justify its existence.

You don't?You really list Spider-Man 3 as one of the worst superhero movies of all time? Really???
Hell, no. 3.5/5 stars. Let's see all the superhero movies I remember rating lower off the top of my headYou don't?
Batman and Robin is worse for sure. I won't argue that.Hell, no. 3.5/5 stars. Let's see all the superhero movies I remember rating lower off the top of my head
Thor: 1.5/5
Batman: 1.5/5
Batman and Robin: 0/5
Iron-Man 3: 1.5/5
Sin City: 1/5
Watchmen: 2.5/5
Avengers: AOU: 2.5/5
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 2/5
and probably more I've rated lower that I'm forgetting
I guess we'll have to just disagree. Spider-Man 3 was a definite let-down, but I still found it pretty enjoyable, especially the dynamic of Peter Parker realizing that he can't always do what feels good to him, i.e. putting on the Venom suit. I thought Sandman was one villain too many, and yes Kirsten Dunst was awful as Mary Jane as per usual, but I actually liked Topher Grace as Venom (maybe just because I like Venom so much).Batman and Robin is worse for sure. I won't argue that.
Spiderman 3 is completely embarrassing, though. Tobey Maguire looks obviously too old to play the part for starters. I get he has a boyish face but no. The faces he makes throughout the movie are just laughable and in no way good acting. The emo stuff in particular was exceptionally embarrassing.
The final fight scene has a crowd gathering around trying to generate excitement and reporters telling us how exciting everything is except its not at all exciting. You have Spider-man getting surprised by an attack something like 6 or 7 times in one scene as if that whole Spider sense thing wasn't real. Topher Grace as Venom is just awful casting. James Franco just looks like a lost puppy throughout the movie. I was generally rooting for Kirsten Dunst to fall to a tragic death.
Sandman is probably the only thing in the movie I liked outside of one brief comedic scene but he seemed very out of place. Anything with JK Simmons is a plus, too, but its absolutely in D- or possibly even F territory.
Thor and Watchmen are both much, much, much better movies. I would say the original Batman was also instrumental in building the genre. I'm okay with anyone making fun of Sin City or Iron Man 3, though.

The Godfather Part 2: 3.5/5 stars. Much improved on the first; still not nearly as good/impactful as everyone would like it to be.
But the wounds were self-inflicted man!!!No, just helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no.
You the only 2 parts of SM3 that anyone needs to see are the first fight scene/chase, and the 20 minute 2 on 2 bedlam smackdown at the end.
everyone and everything else is simply god awful.
The 20 minute 2 on 2 smackdown is also quite bad, though. I think it goes something like:No, just helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no.

Correct.Pretty sure Venom is blocked from Spidey Sense.
The things I forget in my old age. I just saw the final fight scene again about 2 weeks ago and that was the one thing that jumped out and without context looked really dumb but duh, the symbiote adapts and such and thats the whole reason why Venom gives him trouble.Pretty sure Venom is blocked from Spidey Sense.
