Well when you add the fact that you have a whole line that has never played together and your starting LT has never played football and not have any veteran leadership you will face major issues. The Cowboys OL has quality players but those guys have played on the same team for like 4 years minimum so they know each other and play on the same sheet of music.

future of the offensive line? It will be continuation of getting worked over by the Rams defense.

I would be down for some money being put on a vet at LT ... It's such an important position to have a stud on that blind side... Maybe shuffle the younger guy's around a bit... Not sure who would be available, but we gotta invest on that line and stop going so cheap year after year... enough is enough...

There really isnt much available at LT, there are decent vets at RT that could be a stop gap but still an upgrade over gilliam.

The biggest upgrade we could make is zeitler at LG, he could improve our run game instantly but would be expensive.

I wouldn't rule out a return of R. Okung...

Clayton was talking about that a week or 2 ago. Okung would probably be swallowing quit a bit of pride to do that though, so not impossible but makes me think it's pretty unlikely. But put him back at LT and then move Fant to RT to compete with whoever and that's gotta be an upgrade with the 3 inside guys holding steady.

I would be ok with okung if he came at a reasonable price. Still think a big upgrade in the middle could have a big impact as well.

Sign Andrew Whitworth to a vet minimum and try to draft some more

BB season is just getting started. There should be plenty of LT's to investigate.

Who knows... He also swallowed a lot of pride signing the 1 year deal w/ the Broncos for only 5 mil... He and RW are very close friends so I wouldn't would rule him out...

Don't know how Okung feels about coming back, but seems like it would simplify things for the Seahawks. Maybe Okung realizes he was over estimating his worth on the FA market now and be willing to come back at a reasonable rate. Would still be a good idea to pick up some depth in the draft at some point if possible.

things i took away from the article were- "Overall, 21.2 percent of Seattle's picks in the past seven years have been used on the offensive line. That's second-most behind only the Indianapolis Colts." and "The problem? Whether the blame rests on the personnel staff or offensive line coach Tom Cable, they haven't been very good at that." If you did not read article the "They haven't been good at that" part is talking about coaching and or finding talent even though they are one of the most active searching team and drafting team for Olinemen.

This is why i believe we need to move on from Cable. How MANY free passes does this guy get? Cable "was" a good oline coach, "Never" a GREAT oline coach but they treat him like he is the best thing ever. In the real world you me your brother, sister,Mom, Dad or anyone would be fired from our jobs if we produced at a well below average rate in our jobs.

Cable definitely is a lost cause. Say what you will, but after 6 years of total failure and getting worse year after year, every one of us would be fired and rightfully so.

Its extremely frustrating knowing they will do nothing and have an OL that is again the worst in football.

He's not going anywhere soon. For the sake of the board, how about not bitch about it every other day?
Oh, and Bevell ain't leaving either.
For the record, I am not big fans of either.

Year over year the OL has gotten worse, last year being the absolute worst.
