I honestly thought at the start of the season that we were going to see the Eagles and Chiefs return to the SB - that was my prediction. Fascinating how both seem to now have parallel struggles making it to the finish line.

It looked that way for the Eagles out of the gate. The problems that both teams will have going forward (I think both could still make a SB run this season, but I wouldn't bet on it), is that they now have to pay their QB top money. They can't build a team around them like they could the past few years. They will have to hope they hit some home runs in the draft in areas of need now.
