The Defenders (Daredevil + Jessica Jones + Luke Cage + Iron Fist)

One of my biggest gripes about defenders was Rosario Dawson's character... Through out the first 5 series, she seemed to be the link between all the characters... She ONLY got iron fist and Luke cage together... the other defenders got their coincidentally at the same time...

Also, did daredevil and Rosario dawson's character have ANY dialogue with eachother in the entire series?? Weird when daredevil seems to be the MCU netfllix leader and future leader of the defenders...

I thought it was a little weird her and Matt didn't have really any interaction.

I gotta say, this is was a disappointment for me. The first 2 episodes were complete borefests. The first episode should've just been showing brief glimpses of what each of the main 4 characters are doing, introduce Alexandra then halfway through the episode, the "earthquake" happens. Towards the end of the first episode, reveal that they are all having to go do midland circle at the same time, end the episode with the building up to the fight scene with Iron Fist and the Midland Circle "executives". It was just a major disappointment. I also don't get why, after announcing that there was a Season 3 for Daredevil, why you would tease that he died at the end, while the audience KNOWS 100% that he doesn't die. I understand that there is the Born Again storyline but that doesn't even fit because if you are going straight 100% with what the story is, then you gotta turn Karen into a drug addict and have her sell Daredevil's identity to a drug dealer. So, Daredevil season 3 would have to occur YEARS after The Defenders ending. I just don't see it fitting together right now.

Meh. They are supposedly using the Born Again story as the source material for S3, but that does not mean they have to be 100% faithful to how that story played out in the comics. No comic book movie has ever remained 100% faithful to the source material.

I loved the fight at Midland Circle.

It was fantastic. Fun. And had some quips.

I agree with the DD3/Death idea.

The question is who betrays him so Kingpin learns his identity?

Would they really make it Foggy? Or maybe the Dawson character herself.

Maybe they beat it out of her. I don't see anyone betraying Matt willfully or even at risk for drugs right now.

it would've been slower had she had to bring EVERYONE together.

Plus she's not a big player in JJ anyway so at best she's doing 3/4.

If they keep true to the comics, they'd have to make Karen move to Mexico and turn her into a drug addicted pornstar and sell Daredevil's identity for heroin, which then gets leaked out to Kingpin. I doubt they will do that though.

Yeah, because that would stray way out from where she is now.

There's not even a setup that could tease that possibility from what we've seen so far.
