Adam Driver is in final talks for Mr Fantastic. Barring scheduling or pay conflicts it should be a done deal, from what I've heard? And the same soure says Invisible Girl/Woman is down to Amanda Seyfried or Jodie Comer.

If you have doubts about AD as Mr Fantastic them watch him in White Noise. He plays a very Reed Richards type character in it. If you want to capture the leader of The FF you have to cast with Reed Richards, in mind, and he can nail that aspect of the character. I think he will do very well if the deal goes through.

Bingo. I think he'll do fine as Richards. He's a solid actor. But he'd make an excellent Doom.

I think this is more a value based selection. He is a young actor that has been doing very well and I am sure selecting him didnt come at a cheap price so they have every intention of mixing him up in all these alternate universes in Marvel so it would be better for him to fill that role as opposed to Doom as it would be difficult to keep reprising villians. Besides wasn't he playing darth vader or something in star wars? I am sure he doesn't want his career to be known as a villian role filler so I dont think he would want to be doom.

Driver would be excellent as Mr Fantastic. If he gets the roles then just him a chance to show what he can do. A lot of fans didn't want Robert Downey as Iron Man; Heath Ledger as Joker; Michael Keaton or Robert Pattinson as their respective Batman but all them knocked it out the park.

It's official...Adam Driver is now Mr Fantastic.

Margot Robbie is allegedly the front runner for Invisible Woman but that's just a rumor; no word on Human Torch and The Thing.

would have been dumb... sure it is both Disney... but it would be dumb to have an easy comparison between the 2 major Disney franchises of the marvel universe and Star Wars...

having him be Mr, Fantastic would be different enough..

Matt Smith is being floated as a possible Reed Richard now. I am a huge Smith fan, but I am not certain he is right for Richard. As I felt with Driver, I think Smith could be a good Doom, though. Smith being British would lend to Doom being a pan international baddie pretty well.

Real cast finally officially announced!

- Pedro Pascal is Mister Fantastic
- Vanessa Kirby is Invisible Woman
- Joseph Quinn is Human Torch
- Ebon Moss-Bachrach is the Thing

Also, title got a "The" inserted at the front, and release pushed back about 3 months to Friday, July 25, 2025.

I'm assuming, like everyone else, that from the logo and general aesthetic, the movie will have a more 60s retro vibe, which would be great. Lots of fun potential there.

Cast looks to be solid as well. Don't know much about the actors playing Sue and Johnny, but Pascal is a great actor so I'm sure he'll be good. And Ebon's character in The Bear is sorta like a version of Grimm anyway so this is right in his wheel house.

Liking the aesthetic for this. It fits with the F4 really well.

I am very exited to see Moss-Bachrach‘s turn as Thing. He is an actor REALLY on the rise, and he could really breakout here. Only bad thing about his casting is that his character from Punisher will now not be coming back.
