Kang is interesting, although the over did time travel things before the time travel villain, so who knows how it all would have worked.

It's an easy role to recast, but the character has been a big miss, people are just not invested in it.

At least tone it down. Somehow close it off (Loki S3?) with only Strange, Venom, and MAYBE America Chavez (I would prefer abandoning that character, though) being able to cross.

i actually want them to do more with America CHavez... Let her join with Ms Marvel, Ironheart and Squirrel girl... and let them have a teen girl superhero movie... I wished they did that instead of having The MArvels...

I think they’re heading that way with the Young Avengers series they‘ve been setting up(add Kate Bishop’s Hawkeye too if you saw The Marvels).

again... i like this idea... just wish they skipped Captain Marvel 2, and went directly to this... we need to STOP with established characters... thats the problem with Marvel right now... we lost Iron man and Captain America, the 2 most popular established characters... they are giving us the B class and overwhelming us with them...

And while I like RDJ, I was looking forward to someone else playing Doom. This feels like stunt casting to pop headlines since some of their recent movies don't have the same buzz anymore

Marvel just announced Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty Doomsday at SDCC 2022.

It will be released on Friday, May 2, 2025 Friday, May 1, 2026, following Fantastic Four Blade and preceding Avengers 6: Secret Wars, which will be released later the same year one year later!

And while I like RDJ, I was looking forward to someone else playing Doom. This feels like stunt casting to pop headlines since some of their recent movies don't have the same buzz anymore

At the same time though every Fantastic Four movie has flopped or been terrible so if they can get someone who they know is a proven success to help make the movie work I don’t see it anything wrong with it.

To me it’s all gonna come down to his role in the new movie next year to see what he does with it as you know they’re not just gonna have his first appearance in Avengers 5 he will get some sort of story before hand.

The Avengers was just a great movie, but I think 5 will be an all time bust rivaling Captain Marvel. Better to just focus on one interesting individual character. Iron Man and Captain America WERE the Avengers, as far as the movies went.
