This seems like a movie that Disney/marvel needs to blow up. If this flops, their X-men movie better be gang busters or the MCU will be rebooted, just like Kang was rebooted.

Personally, I think the MCU is dead. They used to have to at least try for the approval of Stan Lee. Now they can tell whatever story they want, and that means it will probably be stupid crap. Stan Lee was a great story teller and graphic novelist. Him not being involved at all will ruin this movie universe. Think about Stan Lee and the MCU like you might think of George Halas and the bears. When Halas died, the bears went to shit because his children don’t give a damn. I think the same thing happens to the MCU. The people involved now only care about their own well being and want to insert their own ideology into the films. They don’t know what it took to build this empire and they don’t understand how to continue it, so they will destroy it while they try to scrape as much money off of it as possible.

i totally agree that this movie has to be great... really HAS to be... Fantastic 4 is the most important Marvel comic... it is the center of the the Marvel comic universe...

if this fails, then they really probably should just reboot the whole universe again...

It's all about casting. XMen worked because they hit on Stewart and Jackman. Same with the Dark Knight with Bale and Ledger. Cast it right and get a decent script

well, that is the one thing you have to say the Marvel universe has been good at....

but this movie is really the one that they need to be good... more than any other... if this is good then maybe they can out of their avengers rut... and their need to continue it....

still disappointed that they are doing another avengers movie, and another captain america movie... I mean damn!!!... just get over it...

I agree. Iron Man was perfect, Captain America was perfect...but they are done. We don't need another Avengers movie or CA movie...they will never be the same, they will only diminish how great they were
