Sad to see good shows end, but better to see them end a year too early than watch them flounder for 6 seasons too long.
I have skowered the internet for any statement from the show gunner, and found nothing.

It seems clear to me that they must be Democrats Their depiction of Homelander and his followers seem very similar to Trump and his Maga crowd. I could be wrong but...
Yeah. I don’t remember anything that hinted it in the first 3 seasons. He seemed like he was falling for the Asian girl. I was rooting for him. Why they just dropped that storyline I have no idea. It would have been better to just introduce a whole new superhero who we find out is gay 4 or 5 episodes in(super duper important by the way) rolls eyes

Yup. I enjoy this show enough, though, that I am able to compartmentalize the gross “messaging” and just watch it for the show. But it is really frustrating that I have to do that with 80+% of all the shows I watch now.
Yeah I agree. I liked him better with the Asian girl too. Another character would have been easier and kept that story line going. I like her character, very sensitive and spiritual and 100% killing machine. LOL.
I think if the characters are good it will be OK. That's how I look at it.
The last of us stayed true to the characters in the game, pulling from the source usually leads to better results.
I was irritated by the Last of Us episode, personally. It didn’t advance the OBP real story of the show at all and was a complete waste of time. The story itself wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t deserve an entire episode in a short season, just to message something that didn’t pertain to the show as a whole. I didn’t mind what they did with Ellie later in the season because that was just a side aspect to a larger story that was important to the show.
