i thought she left everyone else alive in the first part meant after killing one person.

I could be mistaken, as I have only seen it once upon airing... but originally I didn't think she killed them, only hurt them, but I believe Homelander or someone mentioned later that 'she killed that family' in the apartments.

I love those full circle moments as well. One of the great moments that is so innocuous and small that the idea of foreshadowing isn't really a thought. Also, don't look at that spoiler until you watch the last episode lol.

probably because it has source material by an incredible writer (ennis)
