Yeah, We gift wrapped about 21 points to the Vols and the penalties and turnovers were killer. Zebras did us no favors. Not saying we win, but the game should have certainly been alot closer than it was. This one was painful and frustrating to watch. And I usually don't get all that emotional.

Went and looked at the box score. Not a huge surprise that VT outgained UT in total yards 400 to 330 AND led them in time of possession. Yet, we lose by 3 touchdowns. Never gonna win with 5 fumbles and a bunch of drive killing penalties.

Wish we could have another crack at this one. I think in the end the team will be better for it. I think VT is better than they showed and congrats to the smokies, but I don't think they are quite as good as the score indicates or that they showed either. Both teams need to improve if they plan to be contenders for their conference, which I think they both could be.

I'm sure you enjoyed every minute of the meltdown Jeffro, and thats fine, it makes sense.

I'm gonna enjoy every minute of watching your team getting ass raped by nearly every team on their schedule, including VT for what will it be, the 13th, 14th? (been so long I am losing count) straight time. Wouldnt surprise me if Bronco Billy didnt win a single game this year. Next weeks game vs. Uconn will be huge for the Hoos. You guys lose that one and possibly/probably? Central Michigan at home the following week, the season and program could hit all new lows this year. I would take great joy in that.

Hope all is well old buddy :suds:

Yeah. A little bit upset about the game, but I'll get over it. On to BC!

I'm waiting for a report from @006 on how it was.
Overall experience I'll say 9/10 due to camping, atmosphere, and seeing BMS full for the first time since Earnhardt died. Game was 7/10. Virginia Tech came out swinging hard and put together 2 great drives that took up the entire first quarter. I wasn't far from going back to the camper to drink it all away. Then Tennessee settled down and dominated, rolling of 45 strait points. Tennessee won't have the luxury of being able to "settle down" in SEC play. I heard a lot hokie fans complaining about the refs, but I think it was more of just a typical Justin Fuente led team that has no discipline. Had a great time over all, but don't think there was a very good seat anywhere in there for a football game.

I also provided my thoughts from the experience to some of the VT fans that couldn't make it. Linked here.

Haha my VT brethren in the background looks like he is puking.
Haha I'd guess that's photoshopped, but will say, I had as much fun with the Hokie fans as I did with my own. Good times. I saw some funny shit out of the young crowd. Walking back to the campground after the game I see what looks like college couple standing there. She's drunk as hell, barely holding her head up, and he say's " Did you really fucking make out with Billy...... At the game!" She gave him the drunk nod yes and then shit hit the fan.

why would any school outside the state agree to this??
Good question. A Clemson message board was discussing it and most seemed excited about the opportunity. I could see West Virginia folks being interested. Outside of that it would be hard to find a team that would bring enough fans to make it worth while. If you like camping it's a great time. I enjoyed that part of it.

I had a good time as we camped as well. Game experience was OK as we had decent seats. That said, not sure if I would do it again....
