Iron Duke
I thought they got great looks. They just didn't make them. And Jerome played really, really bad in the first half. It was probably coming back to the mean though because of how they shot it the game before against Va Tech. I think UVA is probably slightly better overall on a neutral floor. I'm hoping we get this game 4 times this season like we did Duke/MD in 2001.
Duke was missing their PG which is widely viewed as devastating to any other team. It really was brought to the forefront by Duke going zone. But that also threw a monkey wrench into UVA as they were spreading Duke out and using ball screens while trying to beat Duke's M2M off the dribble. What UVA couldn't do was keep Duke off the boards as they were getting rebounds and stick backs off of misses. Duke is not a good jump shooting team. But prior to the UVA game Duke has done extremely well in transition defense this season, part of the reason the defense is so improved compared with the shit OAD defenses of the past.

But again, most of those games were with Tre Jones sticking his nose in the opposing PG's chest and denying him to run an offense. I'd say the game at Virginia should be tougher because of their home court advantage. Other than that, I'm sure that they would shoot better on a home court anyway. A neutral court I'm not so sure.
