What about a Jordan Rules draft? Instead of today's rules, we play by early 80's rules....that's would make guys like MJ and Steph a little less unstoppable

I could get with this. So it would be a game based more on physicality.

Hmm...interesting. That could be fun. The advantage to more physical guys, shooters would be less valuable and big guys that are defensive stoppers could make a bigger impact.

What about draft wise? Do like a decades draft or another cap draft, etc?

Actually shooters would be still valuable, it would be ball handling guards who shoot that would be mainly affected by hand-check rules(like Steph, Kyrie, etc.). I think it would make PG's much less valuable than they are in today's game. Catch and shoot guys like Ray Allen and Reggie Miller wouldn't be affected much, Imo.

Yep, handchecking, riding, forearm in the back in the post, hard fouls, no layups...great scorers are still that, but at a price

Exactly, a guy like Steph would probably be affected more than a guy like Miller. I'd play it open era with a cap

Yeah, shooters will always be valuable but spot up shooters maybe more valuable, like you said. I agree

I liked the idea where we all get Jordan (or whoever you want to build around) and draft from there. Takes the GOAT factor out of the equation.

Yeah but I think the cap takes that out of the equation for the most part, bc MJ's price is a lot higher.

I doubt our next draft will have a cap. We just went through 3 cap drafts.

Is Milk skipped? Been over 2 hours. I think he left a list with Nos, but he seems to be MIA as well.
