We'll see what Rob can pull outta his ass. He's off to an amazing start this trade deadline....so many times us Lakers fans have ripped him to shreds.
True. That's why I don't get into ripping GM's until after a deal has been done and rarely complain about deals that aren't made. We don't know what they know and we don't know the ins and outs of any discussions.
During the summer, everyone was yelling for Pelinka to make a move(s) using those 2 first rounders and wanted him fired when we started the season with no changes.
As, I believe, @shopson67 said...Imagine if they'd used those firsts...likely no Luka. Maybe the Lakers would have gotten a good player(s)...but top 5 in the league like Luka?
I also like that Rob did this and didn't consult Bron.....We have catered to him a lot like most of his teams have....this signals they are looking at life after Bron.
Potentially, it's a completely fake league.Say you don't know the NBA without saying directly you don't know the NBA.
26/12/3/2b per game in 24/25, 42 of 47 game played, may be out another week or so (or maybe this injury was a fabrication due to trade talks).
Yep...Barkley said in an interview yesterday that it looks like Lebron is no longer calling the shots. They're now looking at what's best for the Lakers, not what's best for Lebron.
The good thing about this is, while it sets the Lakers up for the future...depending on what they do by the trade deadline (or over the summer when Lebron picks up his option) they can still have a shot at winning now.
Wouldn’t shock me in the least if luka was dragging this outPotentially, it's a completely fake league.
Yeah, if they can get a big and some more defense....I think they have a punchers chance.Yep...Barkley said in an interview yesterday that it looks like Lebron is no longer calling the shots. They're now looking at what's best for the Lakers, not what's best for Lebron.

It is a sign they’re not going all in for bron’s last run
It’s a choice
Long term it makes sense
But we’re gonna look back on this era as how pelinka fumbled hard post bubble
Yeah, if they can get a big and some more defense....I think they have a punchers chance.
A lot will depend on how quickly Bron and Luka can acclimate their games....I like that Bron has wanted to play with Luka, maybe he defers to him a little more, knowing he is younger....
This.Meh, the problem "post bubble" was he was still a pretty green GM who listened to his 2 stars when they insisted on a player that everyone else (including Pelinka) knew was a bad fit and ended up managing to be worse than most thought.
