This might be the dumbest Heat team in years. In the final minute of regulation and OT, the following 4 things happened

1) 8 second violation
2) Highsmith fouls Sabonis with the Heat in the bonus 90 feet away from the basket
3) Jaquez miss both fts up 1 in OT
4) Bam fouls a jumpshooter up 1 in OT with .9 left

Double OT

This is not how you want to start a 6 game road trip and 3 game in 4 night stretch

That's fucking bullshit. No one wants to watch Jalen brunson bullshit basketball. And he makes all kids that watch him worse at the game. And makes them huge whiners like him.

Such an angry little man.

Funny thing, I actually met Jalen when he was a kid. Played on the AAU program I used to work with. His family moved out of the area when he was 13 and I coached older kids, so never got to coach him directly.

But he worked as hard as anybody and was a really nice kid despite the fact that his dad was a raging asshole.

Emulating a 6 foot nothing player with little discernible athletic talent going to take the average kid a lot further than trying to emulate somebody that has physical
tools they never will, which is 98% of the league.

Your hate is misguided.

Spo should really consider starting Ware and Bam.

We're not a talented enough team to be starting a small ball lineup. The guy will make all sorts of changes to the starting lineups, but this. Smh

You doubling down on your take about kids being worse for watching him play is ridiculous. One of your worst takes.

You can have your opinion on not liking him as a player. That is fine.

But when it comes to teaching normal kids how to use their body to create advantages in the game of basketball, Brunson is certainly one of the best to watch.

Because you can’t teach blazing speed like Ja Morant or SGA and you can’t teach 7’5” like Wemby.

But I can tell you Jalen Brunson was a normal kid who worked really hard and got really good. Anyone can learn from that.

Starting lineup isn’t the issue. Bam having the least efficient year of his career is. He has been so bad on offense all season long

I remember when the people on here ripped the Bucks earlier this season.....they are now 18-16. Didn't age well.

I remember when people on here clowned Trent....he can't shoot.....shooting 43% and 41% on 3's. Also didn't age well.

I don’t know.

Winning NBA cup was nice.

But a team with Giannis and Lillard should have high expectations.

Anything short of the East Finals would be a disappointing season. And 18-16 shows they have a very uphill battle to get where they expect to be.

Beal seemingly embraced his role off the bench.....balled out last night.

Not sure what the requirements (% of games off the bench) are but if he stays there the rest of the season.....he going to get 6 man of the year.

Of course.....my point with that post it was super early to be judging them with a new coach and all basically. Since Rivers was hired over halfway through last season. Takes a while to sort things out after his first full training camp.

And they had new players joining the team in free agency.

Philly and NO both suck. It makes sense but nobody is watching either with football on tv
