Heading home.

Stopped at Circle K and got some gas station hotdogs. Jalapeno cheddar. Got chili, cheese, mustard and hot sauce to put on them while I watch this trade deadline.
WTF were you thinking...ohh it makes sense, you weren't

Agreed, just didn't know if Reagan was regarded that way when he campaigned.

Back then people like Trump and SAS would have never even gotten on the ballot.

People had standards. Behavior used to matter.

Far more recently than that.
They wouldn't have been considered in 2012

Sure, everyone knows Circle K hot dogs are safe as long as they are all beef :nono:
They didn't look like they had been up there long, maybe 2-3 hours.....I have been in there before and it looked like they had been up there 5-8 hours and I avoided them.

They were delicious by the way.

The Lakers are beginning to scramble under the pressure of getting another Center, when they have three already and three more players that can play Center if needs be. Instead of letting the idea of getting a better Center go until the summer, they are beginning to scramble abit looking for said elusive Center.

I have seen this before when James was more of the deFacto GM before Pelinka took over. The Lakers missed the Center they should have signed when they whiffed on and Phoenix picked-up Nick Richards.

Now Pelinka is scrambling abit after Centers that are not much better than the ones they have and they are going to get suckered into giving-up their last serivceable First Rounder they have left, especially dealing with Portland. Check out who they are chasing now.

Hachimura, Reaves, Kleber, Vincent, a 1st rounder and 2nd for KD.

G-Doncic/Milton/Bronny James
G-Knecht/Milton/Reddish
F-KD/Reddish
F-James/DFS/Vandy/Morris
C-Hayes//Wood/Koloko

Everybody can hit the 3 in the starting lineup, except for Hayes.

I don't see it as scrambling at all. They got their guy for the future, but they still have this season to get through.

From what I can see, these are players the Lakers would likely be pursuing in the off-season...if they can get them now for a fair price...no need to wait until summer.

None of the centers on the current roster are true starting quality centers. Maybe they can get away with Hayes as the starting center for a while, but they're not winning anything with him as a starter.

From what has been said, the Lakers are willing to be patient and save their best assets for the summer. But that doesn't mean they aren't going to try to address the need. It just may mean they look for a temporary solution like a guy they can get or a 2nd or 2 or someone from the buyout market.
