I don’t think people realize Garland is playing only 30 mpg. His efficiency is Steph Curry like this season. Maxey is playing 38 mpg with less assists in those minutes and his efficiency is much lower. Not in the Trae range though.

Maxey is carrying his team.

Playing more minutes is also part of the all star equation (should be).

I think it's feasible that they may have contacted a team as a "backup plan"...but that's just speculation on my part...the only person involved who has said anything says he only made one call...so I'm buying that until proven otherwise.

The problem is that with so many looking for clicks, it's hard to know what is true.
