If that is the case then I think they are way off here.

Now, they may very well end up being right about Luka in the end.

But their mistake is that they traded their superstar based on their valuation and not the rest of the league’s.

I guess we shall see how this plays out.

But I would also be surprised if there isn’t a lot more to the story.

Deal happened less than 24 hours ago.

There is a lot we don’t know.

Don’t just trade a 25 year old superstar for no reason. And if they did they are very dumb.

But I can’t just conclude they are dumb without knowing the facts and hearing their side.

If we're just looking at players they got in the trade...AD is a really good get...but when you look at AD being 31 to Luka being 25...they likely could have gotten a younger player who is at least close to as good as AD. Probably better draft assets too.
