I agree how could a team turn down Luka? He’s a beast. I think this trade is going to possibly put the lakers in the finals conversation for atleast the next few seasons

If Kyrie opts out this summer and goes elsewhere, it is an F. If he opts in and eventually signs for another couple of years than it is a C depending on how far they go in the playoffs with AD/Kyrie

He wasn’t. The Mavs didn’t plan on offering him the super max is what it sounds like from what the gm hinted at today. How do you not open up a bidding war for Luka if you know you won’t give him the super max deal? It is poor management

But I would also be surprised if there isn’t a lot more to the story.

Deal happened less than 24 hours ago.

There is a lot we don’t know.

Don’t just trade a 25 year old superstar for no reason. And if they did they are very dumb.

But I can’t just conclude they are dumb without knowing the facts and hearing their side.

Well, the Lakers have the best of the best training crew money can buy. So I suspect that they will get Doncic cleaned-up just like they got AD stronger and ove rhis injury issues when he was a spinelss tub of pig grease and always injured just a few seasons ago.

If that is the case then I think they are way off here.

Now, they may very well end up being right about Luka in the end.

But their mistake is that they traded their superstar based on their valuation and not the rest of the league’s.

I guess we shall see how this plays out.

I think it's bullshit they won't let you post on the PF here, you're far less egregious than many who post there. Their assholery shouldn't preclude you from talking sports here with us though. Hope you still drop by from time to time.
