I just don’t think there has been much if any talks at all with other teams. Likely none in fact.
why because you didn't hear a rumor about it?

Maybe...just maybe....these FOs are capable of keeping the actual moves they want to make to themselves and reporters just make shit up for clicks?

The place wasn't quite the same without you, @fightinfunbags

We might not always agree (we prolly disagree more than we agree) but it's good to have you back. More than just myself have said they wished you were still here....seen you make a brief cameo here and there but here's to hoping you stick around.

Your team got better in the short term.

We got better in the long term, but in the short term worse....unless Bron gets dealt before Thursday. Or retires after the season.
I think LBJ could be traded...in fact, I think it would be smart. Luka is their future now. They could get a real nice haul of young players and picks to go along with the young role players they already have for LBJ with Bronny of course included. Start building the team around Luka right now.

But….

Both are super ball dominant. And while they can make shots, they are at their best when the offense runs through them.

This is not really a great fit for the Lakers.

They win the deal in terms of getting the best player. But now the roster doesn’t make sense. They have a lot of 3/4 players and just lost the 2 best defenders out of their starting lineup.
I agree and after a night to sleep the shock off, the very best move for the Lakers would be to trade LBJ and Jr for everything they can get

Forgot Cuban isn’t involved in these things anymore because no way would he trade Luka

They obviously did not think it made sense to keep him long term knowing what it was going to cost. It’s easy from the outside looking in to say if they should never trade that guy. But if you actually have him and aren’t seeing a clear path forward I commend them for making a move. It’s just a shame it helps the lakers. Luka is a great, great player, but I’m not sure everyone thinks he is the no brainer guy you can actually build around that some do.

I don't think he was anticipating an AD trade though lol. Or that such a huge trade would be made without being in the loop...

From the sound of it, there wasn't time to bring anyone into the loop. You say...let me run this past a few other people and get back to you...the offer may no longer be there when you do.

He has a NTC so he would have to waive it.....not sure how he feeling right now but I guess we will find out soon enough.

Yep and Rob was looking to make a blockbuster deal, not just another DFS type deal.

They made a conference finals and a finals with him 2 of the last 3 years and he is 25. This isn’t a guy who was going to be in his mid 30s at the end of his next contract. Also there is the fact that Kyrie likely gone within the next 2 years so now you have AD alone in his mid 30s lol yeah good luck

This is so stupid. AD is a hurt, old big. Career basically over. Luka just getting started
Maybe you are paid to post stupid NBA takes. The league likes your conversation, phony.

Yeah, dudes only averaging 26 points, 12 rebounds 3 assists, on 53% from the field with 2.1 blocks per game.

But yeah...go ahead and call someone else's take stupid.

Why do you insist on embarrassing yourself?

They had to know more is all I can say. If anyone knows Lukas day to day it was them. Now we have to see what else both teams do I guess.
