I guess that begs the question - who are your top 6 guys in the draft?

FWIW, I actually think the two Devins at LB might be better prospects than a lot of these dlinemen

Yeah I'm not exactly sure what are the main needs for the NYG on defense but pass rusher seems to be a main one, LB depth doesn't seem to strong.

BPA might be the way to go

Top 6 or predicted top 6?
Top 6.

Predicted talent is a bit tricky because some teams might be holding their cards close to their chest.

Like if I was tiering out the top talent including positional value, I'd go:

Tier 1
Kyler Murray
Q Williams
Nick Bosa

Tier 2
Josh Allen
Devin White
Dwayne Haskins

Tier 3
Ed Oliver
Devin Bush
TJ Hockenson

Tier 4
Drew Lock
DK Metcalf
Rashan Gary

I haven't looked at the offensive linemen to see where they fit but I'm sure a couple of them are up there.

Mine is (defense only):

1a Nick Bosa
1b Quinnen Williams
3 Josh Allen
4. Devin White
5. Montez Sweat
6. Devin Bush
7. Ed Oliver

Cards look like they go Kyler. Most definitely Quinnen and Bosa go 2-3 but maybe not the Jets are looking to trade back possibly so does Haskins go in the top 3?
Either way Bosa and Quinnen will be gone before 6.

So then you have the a choice between the Devin's and possibly Sweat or even Gary (not a huge fan)....

Sweat has to be in 2-3 Tier. He is one of the most talented players in this draft

Not that big of a fan of either of these QBs, so I wouldn't have either in the top 10 (but we all know most likely both will go there). My top 10 is probably some mix of Bosa, Quinnen, Allen, White, Gary, Oliver, Sweat, Jacobs, Greedy, and Hockenson. Positional value will force the 2 QBs and at least 1 OT into the top 10 IMO.

I agree, Haskins could be top 10 but it's close, other than him it is defensive players for basically the entire top 10. I don't agree with Greedy, actually don't think he is the top CB in this draft

He's got the measurables, but I'm not real sure either. I was hedging a bit after my top 8, as I'm not sure he or the TE shouldn't be down a few spots. They likely will be anyway, once the QBs and OTs get elevated (and maybe a WR).

Who do you think should be the first WR taken? AJ Brown looks like the safest bet to me. Metcalf has the body beautiful, and Marquise is the more explosive deep threat, but AJ is a solid #1 WR IMO.

Probably A.J. given the total package he brings, then I would go Marquise and Metcalf 3rd. You never know with Metcalf, could be the pick of the draft or he could be the bust. Huge risk but huge reward imo. A.J. is the safest pick but I still think Metcalf is the first WR drafted

Yeah, you can't teach size/speed. Metcalf is imposing as hell.

Reminds me a lot of Julio but obviously Julio's potential was a lot better. Julio had issues out of college. Some routing running issues but it was mainly drops and body catches.

NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - Julio Jones

Julio had a 8.48 grade - perennial all-pro
Metcalf had a 6.30 grade - instant starter

The highest grade overall in this draft was a 6.70. That's kinda crazy imo.

I heard recently it wasn't very serious at all, low risk. Sure, it probably drops his value a bit
I think he'll go pick 11-17 unless its a non-issue in which case he'll go between 4-8.

Unless its serious. Then it'll drop him rounds.

Just don't get this Metcalf love. No lie, he'd be the 3rd Ole Miss WR I'd take in this draft. I couldn't possibly care less about him being built like a freak LB - he's not a LB, he's a WR. His production was decent at best, and his agility issues are a major concern. I would have him somewhere around 8/9 among WRs in this draft at the absolute very best. Again - freak athlete, built like a Greek god, largely unproven as an actual WR.

hwa Freak athlete. Has no route tree, runs go routes, and is great at high pointing the ball.

He's incredibly stiff; that's for sure. Reminds me of Roy Williams back in the day (couldn't touch his toes).

Agree 100%.

Basically yeah, a one-trick pony who will look good walking into the stadium. In reality, a player like him should be a 3rd rounder at best.

Metcalf is the new David Boston. But he's already post-roids Boston.

He put way too much into body building, he's gonna be a disappointment.

Agree 100%.

Roy Williams but even more of a freak athletic freak. I still think it is a hit or miss on him, no between. He will either be like a Julio Jones type of guy where he just figures it out in the NFL or he is a huge bust like Roy Williams, Charles Rogers, Justin Blackmon, etc.

Well in his defense, this draft isn't exactly jam-packed with star players. Great defensive depth but overall the top talent is poor and the defensive talent outweighs the offensive talent by a lot. That helps his draft stock alone.
