SHAQ wasn't expecting anyone to give it back.

He just thought he could be a 40-something old fart cracking childish jokes nonstop and the dude would accept it.

Surprisingly Javale McGee comes off as the adult and sympathetic figure.

He comes across as a little bitch who can't take a joke.

No, he really doesn't.

Shaq had been riding him for years. McGee would look a lot worse if he didn't say anything back to Shaq. Shaq is the one who is crying here. McGee did nothing more than post a jab at Shaq on twitter and Shaq couldn't handle that.

Really? Because McGee is taking Shaqtin a Fool as a serious thing rather than a comedic segment. He thinks he's being personally attacked. That screams "little bitch" to me.

Why isn't everyone else having a pop at Shaq for it? Why isn't the NBA banning it in case more players get butthurt?

McGee is not being sensitive here. That is a pretty ridiculous claim.

He has done some pretty dumb stuff on the court in his day, but the extent to which Shaq continuously singles him out, even years after his best bloopers is unnecessary. McGee had enough and stood his ground. I really do not see how anybody can have an issue with how McGee handled this. Shaq makes fun of him and calls him a bum and he is not allowed to defend himself? BS.

If Shaq is going to go after a player with stature like LeBron or KD, then I can respect that. Don't pick on a role player then get all upset when he responds. That is bullying at its purest form.

He singles him out because he do the most dumb things. It's all for entertainment and laughs. Players around the league love Shaqtin a fool. McGee just became the face of it. Perkins was always on there and he never took it personal.

Nobody knew McGee had a problem with this because everybody know it's just fun and games.

Actually, NOBODY was expecting for anyone to give it back because everybody knew it was entertainment and enjoyed it.

He has taken it for years.

He made one comment about why is Shaq so obsessed with him and Shaq replied by calling him a bum.

McGee has matured a lot over the years and is not the same player he once was. Shaq is the one crying here. McGee stood his ground and in a kind of funny way. If Shaq is going to dish, he better be able to take it when the players he makes fun of fire back.

Instead, he tries to humiliate by calling McGee a "bumass" and threatening to beat him down. Classic bully.

Dude, stop.

The entire thing drips of hypocrisy.

The day after Draymond annihilated Paul Pierce, publicly, they call TNT to complain about a player being bullied?

GMAFB.....I would likely be more sympathetic if they didn't have a guy on their roster that Trolls constantly.

They don't sensor him. So, if it's good for the goose....

For the record,

I have no problem with Shaq making fun of players on his show. I also think players have every right to come back at Shaq when he does, and he needs to respond appropriately. If players should "take it like a man", then so should Shaq. His twitter attacks on McGee reveal his true character.

So....wait.

When Javelle said Shaq was in love with him, that was all good?

When Durant said Shaq had no skill and got by because he was bigger than everyone else, that was all good too?

When the Warriors called his job to try and sensor him, all in a day's work?

McGee chose to engage on Twitter.

Shaq just one up'd him.

But if Shaq has any level of professional pride wrapped up in his career as an NBA analyst, he will go at JaVale McGee harder than ever, for one specific reason:

The Warriors told him to stop.

From ESPN:

Sources told ESPN that the Warriors contacted Turner officials to express concern about TNT’s years-long McGee coverage on the “Shaqtin’ a Fool” segment on the popular “Inside the NBA” show, with the team contending that the ongoing negative portrayal of the veteran center is doing unnecessary damage to McGee’s reputation.

Uh, yeah, it’s unnecessary. Of course it’s unnecessary. The whole show is unnecessary. The NBA is unnecessary. This whole thing is all just one big unnecessary entertainment operation with little or no meaning outside its constructed context, and this feud is entertaining. Besides, the main thing affecting JaVale McGee’s reputation is JaVale McGee, as is the case for everyone.

So Shaq has to go even harder now, and if McGee doesn’t like it, he has the Warriors to blame.

McGee's comments appeared to be in jest. Shaq's were much more personal. Pretty sure KD did not get involved until the back and forth had already started.

I agree that the show is for entertainment, but damn. Every man has his limit.

The Warriors should have stayed out of it. That is not McGee's fault that they did what they did.

Dude, it was a TV segment.

Shaq did not threaten him until McGee said he had his nuts in Shaq's mouth.

Your average guy isn't gonna take that well.

But, my biggest issue is they don't control what their guys say.

So, don't cry when it's done to you.

I agree with Draymond on Paul and laughed when he got #Ethered.

But, less than 24hrs later you call Shaq's job?!?!

It was not Steph Curry's fault that Draymond likes to play hackysack with people's nuts.

Players need to stop getting so butthurt. When you get multi million dollar grown ass men crying because someone poked fun of them, you know you're a little bitch.

I can even live in with the Crying, Lord knows my team does it a lot.

But, to call the man's job?

For Durant to get on TV and say a Cop is threatening a Civilian?

McGee gets paid $1.4m to play less than 10 min a game.

At that rate you can feature me in any comedic entertainment program you like.
