How many times this season hasn't he had a 20 pitch first inning? I'm not kidding. Swear, it seems like he just can't stand not to have at least one base runner and 20+ in the first.

One thing not mentioned much this year is our 1st and 3rd base coaches. Imo they have been a huge improvement.

Much of that was due to them fouling off pitches and not so much of him throwing the ball all over the place and then walking hitters. Bautista earned that walk.

I was thinking the same thing. Just as soon as he hit it, I went "good grief..they had him at LL distance."
