He sure as hell overpaid for Garza.
Got me on that one, it did not work out and still may come back to bite. But sure aren't glad we traded Addison Russell away like our enemy rivals did. A lot of things look bad if they don't put you over. Garza had some nastiness but Chitown has not helped us with their talent.

So odor has pretty much been a bad ass since being called back up.
Before today .333/.414/.500 since returning...So add two hits to that and it got him over .200 and trending upward. If he keeps that up he can get to .250/.310/.400 by seasons end I would think. That would go a long way in showing maturity after his atrocious start.

Look at his numbers since being called back up.

From .136 to .203 already. That's gonna keep climbing.

edit...sorry .144 my bad for making you a .136 hitter that was only the month...haha

Well I wanted Abreu too but I thought it was a good trade due to Kinsler blocking Profar etc. Here is a thought. If we were a little stronger in our lineup, I was thinking he might not get so many pitches away. Scattershooting

I wanted Abreu too, but I thought the CWS might have overpaid him. I was definitely wrong there.

He's 6 for 18 in his last 5 games.

I stand corrected.....:suds:

He had the one bad 0-5 day vs Oakland, but aside from that he's done pretty well

Was at grand daughter's swim meet so missed up through 7th inning. Did Gallo have to make any plays in CF today?

What was the rationale for it ... did anybody say? Wonder if Banister will let Rosales take a turn out there next?

I think he only had one ball hit in his direction and caught it... Hadn't heard any rationale, but my assumption is it was to give Martin a day off or to bench him/send a message

Which seems weird considering they brought him in the bottom of the 6th to replace Rua moving Gallo to LF... not much of a message being sent... maybe the victory was seen as more important than completing the message

Yes, we did have too much JD bashing over there. I have had more problems with some things JD has done than a lot of folks, but some of those guys over there made me look like the President of the JD fan club. Glad to see you came aboard here after they totally ran that other board into the ground. ESPN just abandoned it.
It was only good when Richard Durrett was the Ranger beat writer. It's still a shame. Hate the ESPN format now. Wonder what happened to that Angel ape man?

Anybody watching the Angels/SEA game? Cano was in the dugout on the railings and the Angels were taking IF. The ball went over Pujols' head and heat Cano right in the face.

That's it. Had a little red ape symbol. And welcome here, Kelley. DT and I love giving him grief. We'd follow him over to the Angel board.
