Just hate seeing that production all the way down in the 6 spot.

I'm thrilled to have a lineup that can get production out of the 6 spot.

Was at grand daughter's swim meet so missed up through 7th inning. Did Gallo have to make any plays in CF today?

What was the rationale for it ... did anybody say? Wonder if Banister will let Rosales take a turn out there next?
I think Leo had played something like 25 games in a row so he was overdue for a day off.

Ha. Was his name Rally Gorilla? He was hilarious
Were any of you guys on the DMN board? I was over there before I got on the ESPN board. At one point ESPN only would get about one or two comments if any about their articles. Then when the DMN board went the Facebook route the DMN board essentially died and the ESPN board came to life.

I think a guy named Frets was the worst one over on the DMN board. He was a homer deluxe and if you ever found anything negative to say about Wash or just about anyone else in the organization he would go on the attack. The one who I let get to me the most at ESPN was that Gregory dude who accused me of being a racist just because I didn't like Wash as a manager. The only time he would comment at all is if someone said anything negative about Wash. He never offered up any baseball opinions whatsoever.

Now we just have to worry about #1, #2, #4 and #5.

DDJ looks like he'll produce at 1 or 2, If Beltre can ever get healthy I think it's foolish to think he won't produce, and the same looks to be true for Hamilton at #5.

As he has put together the best single-month ERA in Rangers history – 0.54 for 33 1/3 innings – Gallardo has done it by relying more and more on a sinking two-seam fastball that rings up quick ground ball outs instead of the one-time power fastball that led to strikeouts. His curveball and slider become more and more complimentary pitches to a sinker that is moving more than ever before.

It has resulted in 23 1/3 scoreless innings, the longest streak of his career, over a four-game stretch. He extended it against a Blue Jays team that leads the AL in OPS and had not been shutout under AL rules this season.

“I think the kind of stuff he pitches with now, he understands who he is and the type of pitcher he is,” Banister said. “I think he pitches more to the ground ball a little bit on a regular basis. He doesn’t carry the same velocity that he did early on in his career.”

Here is how it is has changed: Gallardo is throwing fewer four-seam fastballs, which rely more on velocity for effectiveness, and more two-seamers, which rely on movement. For his career, he’s thrown the four-seamer 48 percent of the time and the two-seamer just nine, according to Brooksbaseball.net. This year, though, the percentage split between the four-seamer and two-seamer is 32-21.

Chi Chi is on the mound, that should interest everyone. We will see if he can bounce back from couple less than stellar starts vs a lineup of really good hitters

Party of three for the first pitch it seems.

We'll make it work won't we fellas?

Did y'all see the interview with Gonzalez in the pre-game? He's got a good head on those shoulders.

Beltre, go back on the DL and get right. You're garbage right now.
