Look at it this way...What are the odds of Cleveland finishing the season 10-0. Next to impossible. How about 9-1? Possible, but not very likely. 8-2? Well, that's all we're asking for.

I see them dusting up the Sox tomorrow and taking 3/4 from the Twins. 4-1.
Why are you bringing up 9-1 vs 8-2? Those past games are irrelevant, aside from the fact that they've been winning ballgame after ballgame. Matchup tomorrow definitely favors Cleveland and it's much more likely they take 3-4 from the Twins than the Twins earning a split.

Just let it play out. How many times have we been screwed over by what looked like a sure win based on probable starters? And how many times did we win a game that should have been a loss based on them? It's a crap shoot. We beat the Sox best pitcher and then lost to one of their worst...That's how baseball works.

Don't have a clue on this, but perhaps Perez prefers pitching to AJ. And can you tell me what Soto's avg is over the past 20 games vs AJ?

Soto is hitting nearly .400, in limited appearances, since mid August. I'm more curious about Baker as DH than AJP since AJP has been hitting better against lefties than righties lately.
