Tricky hop but he should've had it.

He seemed to nonchalant it. Hate this letting guys take 2nd which causes Cotts to give up a run he would not have otherwise.

Well the A's had a big game tonight too. Wonder how they are going to feel tomorrow morning after running all over that turf.

Good thing we got Beddard out of there. We struggled some with him. And no Norris to face.

Astros announcers talking smack about Kinsler's defense
they can kindly f off.
he short hopped it, it happens.

oops a run, Nathan warming

If Altuve ends up even touching the career Ian has had they'd be lucky.

What did they say?

"oh boy, I bet his teammates aren't very happy with him"
(the other guy) "yeah, nobody smiling about that.

SERIOUSLY?
I think Ian's teammates are just fine with him

Cotts being left in was silly. He ended up over 20 pitches. No reason to leave him out there. smh
That was just wrong

I know they score 13 runs (they hardly do that) and gain nothing. We know how that feels. Wonder how those hammies and knees are going to feel tomorrow morning from the turf.

You can never have too many pitchers. You just don't know how they will hold up. I hope it is nothing serious.

That would be in his cervical or upper thoracic spine. Not his low back.

you're right, that's bad.

It's why I keep saying no one should get their hopes up. Said the same thing about Colby (many others here saying same thing) and well...

Thank God JD grabbed Garza, I still think he'll be solid.

Talking about rehabs ... Berkman may be off to rehab this weekend. Believe MLB guidance provides 15 days (maybe it is games) for a position player rehab before the club has to take further action ... either activate, release or put the player back on the DL. I don't think TEX will create a situation where Berkman is ready for activation before Sep 1 ... but if they did and the move was to activate him before the end of August.

Whose spot would Berkman take?
