Well, he is a SS, so there is a good portion of folks who will increase his value for no other reason than that. The question is, are any of them GMs?

I know we have drafted a lot of SS and traded for SS prospects a lot, yet we have yet to flip one for much of anything in trade. We haven't really used any of them for very long at SS, other than Elvis.

He is the best ranked one we have had in awhile though.

Is it wise to overpay just to outbid others. Surely they are not going over 20 million a year for him?
How much is he worth to the Rangers?
I guess supply and demand come into play but there are good pitchers next off-season too
