That’s what I think too.
Just look at their last 4 years. ERA, WHIP & FIP.
Perez got a little lucky this year with called strikes and limiting HRs. With the shift being banned that might hurt him as well since he pitched to contact more than most pitchers.

But what do y’all think the payroll will be for next year?
Are they comfortable going to $165? $180? $190?

If the Rangers are willing to go to $190 million on the payroll they could sign
Judge-$40 mil AAV
Bassit-$17 mil AAV
Perez-$12 mil AAV
N Martinez- $8 mil AAV

That would put them right at $190 million

Perez has been pretty darn healthy that is true.
Over the last 4 years
Perez has pitched 537 innings
Bassitt 545 innings
