Thinking of the Rangers converting starters to relievers and then back again to starters, made me think of Robbie Ross. He pitched in an Independent League in 2022. He is still just 33 years old.

I don't have a lot of interaction with Adam. We have gotten crossways a couple of times, but not in awhile. Once he stopped trying to prop up Odor, things got better. Lol

I wouldn’t worry too much about the lack of relief pitching signings on our part… yet.

There aren’t any elite shutdown guys available in free agency, but there are definitely some guys still available who would unquestionably make our pen much better (although, it would hard to be worse).

Andrew Chafin is a really nice pitcher. A reunion with Matt Moore makes too much sense not to happen as well. Taylor Rogers would be a great signing, too. And there’s 6-8 other guys out there who would be definite upgrades over the likes of Sborz and King.

I have yet to see any substantial rumors on any of those guys (because nobody cares that much about gossip involving Andrew Chafin). So I don’t necessarily think it means CY just isn’t pursuing any bullpen help. I sure hope he is.
