You are right on the insanity of the length of the contracts. But what athletes are getting paid has been insane for a while.

I'm curious as to what the average family of 4 has to spend on going to a game and getting decent seats along with parking, souvenirs and concessions???

I'm guessing it's pushing $500 and in a big market it's more...

The last time I went last season, tickets and drinks and food, a new baseball cap was close to $100.

I used to park at the season parking at six flags and shuttled in at other times. We never bought too much at the park usually treats Last couple of years I have I bought one set of tickets However I have a bud who has given me tickets a couple times last two years
My season ticket days are likely over unless my son moves back in town. Back then I would trade tickets to get my whole family to a Sunday game. Those were good times back in the Ranger glory days
