Players are looking to add caveats that make tanking less rewarding

that i like make teams try to build and keep competitive. maybe that had something to do with these moves the Rangers did

As long as I get to watch less 9:00 games and it’s somewhat balanced I’ll be ok.

We have discussed on here about the possibility of moving some of our MIF prospects to the OF. I have mentioned that possibility to 3 or 4 local media guys. I have yet to have any of them answer me, and I have yet to see any media members ask JD or Chris Young about it. Maybe they are saving that subject for discussion during the lockout. Lol

That definitely seems like a "we'll cross that bridge when we get to it" topic.

Some folks who are thinking these recent signings are going to precipitate the departure or stifle the upwards movement of alot of the teams MIFers prospects has to remember 3 things. Both players are getting older everyday, neither of them are top defenders at SS (neither have won a GG there) and last but not least we still have other openings to be filled...

So I doubt we see the team start willy nilly moving a bunch of the MIFer prospects anytime soon. I don't see their signings as meaning the teams way of doing business evaluating/accumulating/trading/using good prospects will be changing.

(All that being said some of the more peripheral ones will be moved, as usual).

I think the local guys are reluctant to go there as they would be perceived as giving the vote of no confidence for the current outfield and

They do not want to jeopardize their access to player interviews or as a naysayer
Akin to when Dale Hansen got kicked out of Cowboys. Mild theory
