It will probably take 7 years to get Story, maybe 6.

I wonder if the Rangers will go after JD Davis. He swings a great bat and always has high OBP. His injury last year may lower his trade value.
He can DH and play LF/3B
His defense isn’t great, probably needs to be primary DH but nice to have a tad bit of versatility.
He would be a great #2 hitter I think.
Avg around a .370 OBP the last 3 years.
Definitely a .800 OPS type guy with 3 more years of team control.

The guy who does the podcasts with Jeff Wilson issues some trade suggestions at times. He had 5 this last time. A lot of times I don't care for them, but this one would be great, so great, that I doubt the White Sox would go for it.

I wouldn’t mind the Olson, Bassit trade. But I have to believe they could trade Them separately and get better players in return.

I definitely wouldn’t want to trade two controllable valuable bullpen arms and a potential starting SS for a 1 year $10 mil rental that will pitch to a 4.10-4.60 ERA
Can’t we just sign one of those guys if that’s the need we have?

Of course I like the Reynolds’s trade but the others are flawed for where we are at in the rebuild

I hope we retain Andy Ibanez to be our 2B
At least until one of our many prospects is ready.

Wouldn’t mind trading IKF, Solak and another for an OF.

To add to Suzuki, Story and possibly Kershaw.
I wouldn’t mind Desclafani or Matz on a short term deal either. I’d prefer 2/$28
Just until Winn and Leiter are ready to go.
Not to mention one of White, Henriquez, Rodriguez, Bradford etc working out.
With Alexy, Otto, Dunning and Hearn
I’m optimistic about our pitching situation moving forward but wouldn’t mind one or 2 innings eaters
