Twenty year-old IF, Jose Acosta, has been acquired from the Reds for Heineman. He had a really great year in 2019 in the Dominican Summer League. He had a short stint in the Arizona rookie league that year and did very well there too.

These last two trades are more like what I expected us to make this offseason, not so much the Lowe trade.

Ethnic cleansing is a real thing in US history, including Texas History and the use of the Texas Rangers, just because we don't like to associate ourselves with it doesn't mean it didn't happen, it's just easier to say, "No, other people were worse than we were"

Not to mention the intentional efforts to scrub Native American culture from existence through the creation of Carlisle Schools

I'm also not advocating changing the name either, just offering perspective, but at this point I think a lot of people want to be offended by everything

I’m not disclaiming anything but it seems like an overblown story. It was a time when both sides were determined to destroy each other. You make it sound like the Rangers were created for the sole purpose of “ethically cleansing” Texas

My ancestors lost family members on both sides of the fight between the settlers and the Indians and both sides felt justified in their actions. To judge them by today’s standards is comical seeing as how none of them are here now

I didn't make it sound like anything, I'm only stating the facts, there's no opinion in there, you're choosing to see it it one way and comparing to Nazi's to try and deflect

Unless they are looking at filling up some areas below AAA I am not sure the reason for needing a catcher.
