Going back to the Michigan losing one game but getting in scenario.

Right now Wisconsin is killing Iowa, they seem to have righted their ship? UW is a team Michigan has beaten. Could add another ranked team to Michigan's resume if UW keeps winning? Meanwhile, on WF's end, seems they may lose Pitt as a ranked team they beat, if Miami holds on for the win, up 2 TDS right now? That could lead WF with ZERO wins over ranked teams, and Michigan with 3 wins over ranked teams.
Michigan is out. No team is going to the playoff this year if they don't at least win their division. They would need to beat tOSU and hope that MSU drops two games to make the B1G CCG. Not happening.

What about Minnesota, with their Fortune 500 companies and many inventions? That’s gotta be worth something right????
If they'd have pulled off the win vs BG, they'd be on this list, as they are all alone atop the B1G West Division standings.

I don't think it will happen, but I don't think it's unreasonable to say Michigan could beat Ohio State this year and that Michigan State could lose to Ohio State and Penn State. Not likely, but I certainly don't think it's so unrealistic to say that Michigan doesn't even have a path to the CFP.

How is Iowa still on this list?
He thinks Iowa could still make it if they go to the B1G champ game and win. being the "official" winner of the conference with 2 losses.

IMHO, if that happened, they shouldn't make it in. should be an exception clause in those circumstances.......

Ok, question for the board.

Who has the best loss? and who has the worst loss? Try to be objective and not insert personal hatred of any team. Ranking them as well.

Alabama
Ohio State
Oregon

Question #2.

Which of those 3 teams has the best win?
Which of those 3 teams beat one of the other 2?

"Ohio St is better than Oregon because Ohio St lost to Oregon" is one hell of a take.

I'll answer that, but can you answer question 1 first.........

Ohio State
Oregon/Alabama

Just setting yourself up for disappointment when Oregon is ranked higher tonight.

Buckeye fans and pretzels have a lot in common.

My preference would be to see these 4 teams get in (if they win out)

Oklahoma
Oregon
Ohio State

I've already accepted that, because I know of the blind hate and anti OSU bias that exists out there. Year isn't over. just need to keep winning.

but I find it humorous that after I hear people pumping up oregon for 15 minutes, they'll spout every possible positive fact about the Ducks............. but won't mention the loss to #59 Stanford.............. It's almost like it never happened....... :dhd: That is precisely why they should be below OSU......
