Absolutely. Coach can't handcuff a shooter without taking him out, and how do you take out KD in crunch time normally? I just wish teams would just keep going to the hot hand until the opponent adjusts. Too often they try to use the hot hand as a decoy and overthink things.

It's both, imo. KD was bricking shots. But he's a scorer, so he's going to keep shooting. He should recognize that his shot isn't falling and pass the ball, but sometimes they get tunnel vision. At that point, it's up to the coach to call timeout and remind them that Jrue was hitting his shots and they need to feed him the ball. Or at least draw up a play to try to get an easy shot.
