I've gone back and forth on this. This team can't be that incompetent to forget to blur out the new name on a promo video.......can they? Lol.......I'll go Commanders with that busy ass logo on the back of the jersey. Fingers crossed for Warriors, Wolves, or Redwolves.

Wouldn't it be awesome on the Today Show when ask what the decision is they say 'We're going back to being called the Redskin.. fuck ya'll and you're political BS and your fake outrage and offense over a name.' Awesome shit like that never happens though.

I'm guessing the name is either Defenders, Admirals or Commanders and of those three I would want Commanders.

I would have liked Warriors or Renegades. I think the image of an Indian was out no matter what. I would have liked to seen the lance brought back. There is no reason that couldn't happen other than Danny Boy didn't want it to happen.

Since I don't have a dog in the fight I will go with Admirals as my guess because I HATE the name Commanders.

In reality based on what we know now they should have named the team Pimps.

I like Warthogs or Warhogs now... since it won't be Warrior or RedWolves

therefore it'll be Commanders, Admirals, Defenders... or something else equally lame that ties in nothing of our history and tradition.

and Jason, Julie and RR all love the military and they likely sold the brilliant idea (after 2 years of pretending to 'involve' fans...not)

to Danny Boy who.... if he couldn't keep his beloved Redskins cuz of ad revenue only sees $$$ signs selling jerseys to the enormously popular military contingent across the country.

if it was only about the $$$ brilliant. but once again, JW, RR and co are choosing our re brand.... and they are tone deaf, with slick marketing degrees... and know 'F all' about the SKINS of OLD...when we were winning and respected and/ or attachment to this franchise during Lombardi, Allen or Gibbs...and no clue regarding the importance of our history and traditions to the dwindled fan base that remains.

guess we are aiming for $$$ from merch and free advertising to be the PEOPLES 'Military" Team...

nobody cares, I think most people are resigned to a name we will not like at this point.

the rebrand has gone on waaaay too long and all the misdirection and hints and retractions by the marketing team has just showed continuing ineptness.

imcompletely ambivalent at this point with the process. just do it already

and we all know more than half the remaining fan base will hate it cuz it isnt Red Wolves like most wanted.
