i am sorry but if Clowney doesn’t get 14 sacks he is a bust . Double digits arent enough for a # 2 overall averaging 4.5 sacks a yr not counting injuries

He has the arm and the athletic ability, as you said it is just a question of his being able to read defenses, process that info and execute in a timely way.

Dean Jones was in charge of the Love Bug right? This writer cracks me up ... every article is 3 of this, 4 of that and 5 of them. As far as the article ... I did not read it but there are growing pains for every draft choice whether they are a DB or OLineman. Good coordinators are supposed to find ways to take advantage of and confuse young players.

The sad thing is that he gets 1 year to prove it and that is it IMO.

Hopefully we have a real GM next offseason and they will not hesitate to draft the next QB. It is impossible to predict who will declare or perform in 2023 in the college ranks, but it appears that this will be a solid draft class with at least 3 potential franchise QBs.

If Howell isn't it, or doesn't show steady improvement, we have to pull the plug and move forward and secure that QB. That isnt fair, but we have to get a QB. Rivera failed to identify and develop a QB during his first 3 years. We can't afford to keep playing QB musical chairs. There again, howell might be it. I don't think he is though.

If we can just find a way to sneak into the playoffs...anything can happen.
Hopefully, some key players of other teams get hurt or suspended. You never know. The goal is to make the playoffs.

I think Forbes makes the Pro Bowl and Howell throws 50 TDs. I believe we sign Rivera to a 10-year deal as well with EB being promoted to Assistant GM. Anything can happen.

I am not buying the Giants or Eagles either. Anything can happen....you never know. I am going to be positive!
