Nope
It's the new football.
Clearly a penalty.
Get with the times.
It's the hitting part.Which part was "clearly" a penalty? The hitting in the chest part?

Youshurboutdat? We had this same penalty on one of our players a few weeks ago.
Thought it was bullshit, but when you read the rule, it's clearly a penalty.
Just thought you guys would like to know what the new football looks like.
It was pretty shocking hearing the ref uphold the review. I thought for sure the review was just to confirm the fumble. Not sure how coaches are supposed to teach corners... This was as textbook a hit as it gets.
It was the QB's helmet that he hit but it was a complete bullshit targeting call. I often reference that when people want to complain about how "this is the worst targeting call ever".2 Years ago, during the Michigan-MSU game our best linebacker was called for targeting and ejected, on an absolute clear replay showing their o-linemen pushing him down and he fell into the running back on the ground hitting helmets. I still remember announcers saying, he will stay in game, it was clearly not intentional, and seconds later ref upholds and kicks him out of game, there was just stunned silence from announcers, like how the hell did he not see the clear push?!
it was 20-7 a little over half way in the 1st quarter. it ended up 62-14. I don't think it changed any outcome hereI fucking hate this rule. It changes the outcome of games. Teams are losing starters all over the place, its' crazy.
No, not here. But in other games you can certainly make that case.it was 20-7 a little over half way in the 1st quarter. it ended up 62-14. I don't think it changed any outcome here
So the B1G has formally apologized to Ohio State, stating today that the targeting call was "unwarranted". What a load of BS. Cost us a TD and causes Ward to miss time.
