The Jets beating the Rams today was the biggest win for Jacksonville since they defeated Pittsburgh to advance to the AFC Title game. I hope they don't blow it now by winning a game here at the end. Trevor Lawrence to Justin Fields is like Peyton Manning to Ryan Leaf!

God bless Sam Darnold,

Signed,
All Jags fans!

Jags gonna draft Lawrence then waste his entire rookie deal with no talent around him . Id trade that 1 for about 4 other 1s. Get your team right then go get your QB . The KC model

Lawrence should play out his Clemson career. The college days are the best days of your life.

Why does it matter? The Jags are just going to trade Lawrence eventually just like every other star they draft lol

Honestly, as bad as the Jets organization is, they could have been a good destination. I just don't know about the Jags.

KC model? LOL. The KC model is get a once in a generation talent and let him be your team. If Lawrence is half as good as Mahomes, the Jags would be foolish to pass on him.

Kc had elite talent all over the field when they got Mahomes. You put Mahomes on Jax and they're 4-10 at best . Taking a franchise QB when the rest of your roster sucks does 2 things. 1. Yiu waste his rookie deal trying to build around him and 2. If he's great you guarantee you're team isn't bad enough to get top tier picks and if he busts you set yourself back a decade

Theres a reason only 1 top 5 QB taken the last 20 years has won a SB. Shit only 3 ( out of 32 ) have even made a SB

Put Mahomes on the Jags and they’re easily a playoff team. QB is everything in the NFL. And Mahomes is a once in a generation talent that would succeed wherever he ended up.

Jags need to turn whatever cap space they have into OL help to keep him upright. Everything else takes care of itself

At least in Jacksonville, it'd be better weather, not as much media scrutiny and no state income tax.

Tanking doesn't work in the NFL. So you're saying that creating a culture of losing for a team that's going to create a toxic atmosphere in the locker room so some young 20something rookie can come in and be the savior is a recipe for success?

These are two of the dumbest, most ill-informed statements I have ever seen on the NFL message board.

1) KC is a playoff team with any number of QB’s in this league. Easily one of the more complete rosters in the league. Mahomes is great....but KC has a top 5 offense in this league with any one of about 32 QB’s in the league. That’s how talented they are on offense overall.

2) Jacksonville doesn’t make the playoffs this year no matter who QB’s them. Nor do they get anywhere close. They put out one of the worst rosters this year that we have seen in the league in the last decade of football.

People talked about how bad the Jets are as an organization..... the Jags have a WAY worse roster and are run so poorly that the NFLPA literally warned players that they should be carful not to sign deals there.

Y'all are definitely looking into this deeper than I am. I'm just thrilled that we now have a chance for Trevor Lawrence and that it's much less likely we'll get stuck with Justin Fields. To me that is a MASSIVE win by itself.
