How would Kobe be "the loser" when he still beats LeBron 5-1?

Perhaps question the person who actually wrote the article vs the person who posted it:noidea:

But anyway, I'll beak it down for you as I interpret the piece.
Actually, if the Heat loses, he is implying Kobe loses to Duncan.
It s pretty much an either or Kobe lose situation IHO.

We all know that if they were on the same team, LeBron would very happily take the backseat to championships.

Somebody brought up Lebron, so I just showed everyone Lebron has been better and in the clutch so far in career. But Kobe has the 3 ships w/ Shaq

Duncan is a center not a power forward. ...Here are all the centers better then duncan. Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Ewing, Moses Malone, Wilt, Jabbar, Russell...

Duncan tries to pretend he's a power forward because he knows he doesn't measure up to those other guys. Bottom line they're all pretty much the same height or within an inch or two.

But I'll give Duncan credit, he is a top 10 center of all time.
But in post #77 in this thread, Sman says below

Lebron probably respects Duncan because they play the same position. Let's face it, Lebron's game now is all layups, entirely under the basket...

They're both power forwards
.

He can't even keep his trolling straight.

I have seen Heat posters try to say that LeBron is a Guard or Small Forward. It seems as though they can't decide what he is?

And Sman calls Duncan a forward.... then a Center. It all depends on who he's trying to troll.

Lebron is a transcendent talent. He can play at least 3 maybe 4 positions effectively. No wonder you cant put him in a box and label him.

I would say small forward, though it really doesn't matter. The small forward who can play guard or PF is what I would call LeBron. And you are right, he can play 4 different positions, and play all of them well.

Well, the Lakers got 5 championship titles with Kobe Bryant, and the Spurs only got 4 with Tim Duncan...... So do the math and ask yourself if you really want four instead five titles

Let me fix that for you TLF. Spurs got 4 with Duncan as the #1 option and the Lakers have 2 with Kobe as the #1 option. Makes the choice a lot easier to see now doesnt it?

It's nearly impossible to compare the two since they don't play the same position. I'd take Duncan preferably, but I'm biased given I'm not exactly a fan of the Lakers.

Tim Duncan's teams are way more consistent given their 15-year run in which they've won 50+ games a season. He's also taken a small market team and made them into a dynasty in the mid-2000's.

I will say this though, although Duncan is the more consistent star player who doesn't get the daily recognition. When Kobe has one of those games where he can't miss - there's probably no one better. But at his age now I don't see that Kobe ever returning.

This really isn't about titles. It's about people. Two people, in particular. I'll take Duncan.

I love how every one only cares about titles ignoring all character until LBJ does every thing he can to earn titles, then it is about character...but as always ignoring their own players character because LBJ looks like a saint next to them.
