What a weird game. Defense just isn't consistent enough. Tolbert is the reason SD was in that game. WRAP UP BOYS! Win is a win, but that was a little too close.

It's hilarious that the defense scored 14 points yesterday, but Aaron Rodgers still got me 30 for my fantasy team! LOL Short time of possession? Not a problem Forkem, just give me a couple minutes.

i'm out of superlatives for rodgers.

say what you want about this being a passing league, but that dude is fuckin unreal.

for the last ~30 years, i have stuck by my guns saying that joe montana is the greatest qb i've ever seen, and this even includes rooting/being a homer for guys like manning and favre, and begrudgingly respecting brady. overall, i'm not one for hyperbole, and i tend to stay out of discussions about goats, but....

i never thought there would come a day when i might say i am currently watching potentially the greatest qb of all time.

and with the talent he has around him, i feel so confident that they can beat any team at any time regardless of how they play them. shootout? sure, good luck with that. ball control? i think this offense could outscore their opponent even if they only had the ball for 10 minutes in an entire game. pressure the qb? well, rodgers is better against the blitz than he is against a four man rush. sit back in a zone? rodgers is a surgeon.

if i was a d coordinator, i would have nightmares about gameplanning against this offense. no joke. they may not need the defense to be very good. if the defense does improve, well fuck it, i might as well jump on the undefeated bandwagon...

I was literally thinking about the same thing last night, Johnny. I know we've talked about Rodgers over and over. But I don't think anyone. And I mean anyone. Has played QB this well, ever. Nobody has had the combination of mobility, arm strength, IQ, accuracy, elusiveness, quick release, leadership, x factor that he has. He has all of that at such a high level.

Boomer Esiason said it. I think everyone else is trying not to say it because they're afraid they'll jinx it, or because they're afraid of what it means for their team's super bowl hopes.

But as you say, fuck it. Enjoy the moment. We are watching absolute greatness.

Penn St & Ohio St losses = Badgers can take the [whatever stupidly named] division & play for 1st BIG 10 Championship - if they run the table.
So they have to travel to the Illini & host Penn St.
I think they'll do it.
Not quite the National Championship, but that was the Badgers own fault.

Ya, I said something about this on the Badger board. Bielema is a terrible special teams coach. That punt formation is horribly stupid. Coverage is unbelievably disgusting. He took it over as a pet project and that was a mistake. He needs to hire somebody to take it over, and then step back and make himself a resource for his assistants.

The other thing I was talking about is how similar the Packers and Badgers are this year. Questionable defensive line play. One QB at the top of his level of football. Almost unstoppable offense, sketchy defense with a few playmakers.

great game.

rodgers continues to put together the greatest season from a qb that the sport has ever seen.

defense comes up big, held them to 20 points below what they scored last time.

weirdly though, i still feel like mccarthy will still have a lot of things to talk about.

this team came close to playing a full 60 minute game.

if/when they do....it could be very ugly.

Ya that was nice to hear the defense doing well. Even though it was a little hard to understand Wayne Larivee once in a while. Clay usually has a good game against that offensive line, but it sounded like he was more explosive tonight.

Ya, lol, McCarren said the same thing on the radio about Cobb on the next return. "Boy he looked he really ran angry there..." LOL

Matt Flynn is a good quarterback. To some extent he proved that ARodg has the best set of weapons ever assembled, but you still can't be a scrub. Unfortunately I don't think TT will be able to trade him because he's going to be a free agent isn't he?
