Well okay. I might have something to say about those nut kicking Vikings LOL Sorry. That's Why the coach always says you to make sure you have your cup.

Congratulations on your win. Maybe we'll get you next time.

Good game AP. Ponder looks like he could be a pretty good pro.

I hear ya. Just seems like there's a bunch of it going on right now. I haven't said much about it, in order to avoid sounding like sour grapes, but I wasn't impressed with the conduct of the MSU players on Saturday. Particularly Ball's head getting yanked back after he took a shot helmet to helmet shot in the back of the head.

Our offense is really good.

Like really...really good.

I mean really, really, really good.

Offense = unstoppable.

I'd settle for really [1x] good on defense.

Yeah - I know they prevented the other teams from scoring enough to win - just hopin' they put the hammer down for a stretch run.

Ya that "important stat" stuff is getting old. They know they need to get better.

On the plus side, I think most defenses around the league are down. I was talking about it with the guys at work, especially because pass coverage has been particularly bad.

My theory is this. Defensive players have to react to offensive players, they don't get to make the first move(unless you're in pass rush or run blitz). Thus, the lackluster off-season workouts would impact them more. They may recognize something, they may react, but maybe their joints and small muscle groups just aren't conditioned to have the same speed and agility when they react to routes or RB bursts/jukes.

Whatchya think?

That might have something to do with it, but I have a hard time giving anyone a pass. They're professional athletes.
But, it is frustrating how offensive mided the NFL is. Some of these QB hit penalties and such are irritating.
Let's just put all the QBs in red jerseys and be done with it!
[pretty soon it'll be flag-football]

haven't posted for a couple weeks. stinging from a few nasty losses the state of wisconsin has had to endure.

thank gawd for the packers.

will be very interested to see how the pass d holds up after the bye (aka tweaks/adjustments) against an elite level qb.

Probably not very well if he plays anything like Brees did.

well, rivers has had an off year, and it looks like that secondary can be had.

based on last night's game, the biggest concern i have is that this game is on the road, then again, considering the packers superbowl run last year, playing on the road should be old hat for them...

I had no idea how horrible the Chargers were. I guess I'm not very worried about our secondary after all.

McCarthy's teams have never lost to the AFC West.
He also has a very good post-bye record.
We'll see.
