I think the Brewers may have blown it.
I know it's not over yet, but all 4 runs allowed in the first - give me a break!

I have to admit, when it comes to the Brewers, I'm usually one of the first people to throw in the towel. I think the reason for that is just the salary cap. I mean when you're one of the teams with the money, you're going to have one or two more clutch pitchers, or a few more hitters.

The Cardinals were slow starters this year, but right they're on fire, and the Brewers are collapsing. Our starting pitchers just aren't that impressive. We should have leaned on Narveson a little more, maybe, because he's still doing well.

But ultimately.... I'm just really disappointed in how they're playing. They were lucky to get past Arizona after the way they got shelled in Phoenix, and they forced Yo into a game they wanted to rest him for, so they could rest Greinke longer. They fucked that up.

I was hoping they would win last night to guarantee at least one game in Milwaukee...but...I think they're done. Great season. Too bad nobody has another emotional gear to jump in when the playoffs come around. Who pitches tonight, Wolfe? All but a guaranteed loss.

I thought Wolf would blow it too. He really stepped up tonight.
Actually gives me hope for the Crew winning this series.
3-1 = pretty much over
2-2 = 0-0 in a way. Whole new series - best of 3 with only 1 on the road.

It ain't over yet!

Still wanna see MKE v DET.

That really was impressive. I'm pretending not to care. They play better when I don't care...not that I care or anything.

Too bad for Detroit.

Just can't ever seem to care about teams from Texas.

If the Brewers don't make it - I'll definitely not have a reason to watch the WS!

Can't stand St. Louis!

I'm worried. Obviously because we have Marcum pitching. But hey, this team has proven that they can win at any time. The Cardinals are just hot right now. Law of averages says they have to cool off sometime...

So that roll out TD toss to James Jones was unbelievable today. Does anyone else in the league throw on the run better than Aaron Rodgers? Did Favre? Did Elway? Does Vick? Did Tarkenton?

I really don't think so.

I thought Clay looked more loose today, and he definitely looked like he was feeling more stable on that quad. Bouncing around on the sideline, LOL. I still think the Collins injury really did some damage to that defense, though. Teams have figured them out a bit, and he's not there to pick up the slack.

But I don't know why I'm talking like that after a win. Jordy and Jones were big time today! Peprah and Burnett will get it done.

And then there was one . . .

Awesome one quarter by GB!

Can't believe I have to want Texas to win.
One bright spot - don't have to go out of my way to watch the series - I truly don't care.

Ya. It is a little gross cheering for Texas.

I don't know if Shields has the appropriate hardware for sense. ;-) LOL

Nah, I like Shields. Sorry for the 3 day hiatus. Work week is going FAST.

He's got crazy hops. I saw him standing next to Derek Sherrod and it was pretty funny.

How about Jordy and James Jones getting some work done the last couple weeks?

Just when the game looks like it might get away..... The offense reels it back in. I don't have much to say about the game other than this.

Well okay. I might have something to say about those nut kicking Vikings.... I will keep it to myself though, since I like JR and AP.
