That was his best target? Kelce leave him?
I honestly don't care about GOAT debates at this point. He'll almost certainly have to switch teams like Brady at some point to catch him so it's not really something to care about.

All I know is that people expected the Chiefs to regress after losing Hill.

Mahomes won Super Bowls with Kadarius Toney stfu
He just needs to be protected. Knowing Andy Reid as Eagles fans do, it’s shocking that they’ve had tackles issues a few seasons in a row. That’s just not Andy ball. The Eagles are good today because Andy sold Lurie on his principles and it all starts on the line of scrimmage. Mahomes has many more rings in him.

Its the other half of the coin to starting his career with so many weapons. Mahomes started his career with a serviceable but below average veteran LT and a really good veteran RT and top of having Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, the good Kareem Hunt briefly. It was legit stacked.

Its hard to find OT when you're picking 28-32 every year. Chiefs had to rebuild the whole oline after his 3rd year as a starter. They found a pro bowl G and a pro bowl C in the draft. They went after Trent Williams but the Niners gave him more money. Signed Thuney instead and he is a pro bowl level guard (and a bad LT). They traded a draft pick (Oweh) to rent Orlando Brown Jr and draft Nick Bolton. Orlando Brown Jr was mid so they moved on. Honestly, all sensible decisions.

The problem is that for some unknown reason our GM went all-in on RT Jawaan Taylor. Not only is he also mid, but he is a right tackle and not a left tackle which is the elusive position for the Chiefs. Chiefs drafted Kingsley Suamataia as a project at LT and started him day 1 this year. He was the 4th worst OT who played all year for any team according to PFF. Chiefs played really conservative this year and won a lot of games relying on defense, having other teams fall on their face, being lucky, and getting some ref calls. This years draft is supposed to be bad at OT and good at G. Our GM screwed up.

I get so weary over the non-stop QB comparisons to greats from all different eras. All I know is Patrick Mahomes has delivered in the clutch so many times, I've lost count. As a Broncos fan, I hate him. As an NFL fan, I respect him. Sucks when your bitter division rival has the best QB (opinion) in the league. The NFL is in a constant cycle. Broncos dominated the AFCW under Elway and Manning. Now it's the Chiefs turn. The cycle will continue to churn but I always feel fortunate when I get to see greatness.

Eagles were unstoppable in this game. Reminded me of Super Bowl 50 when the Broncos defense (Von Miller) tore up the Panthers. Serious defensive dominance.

Excited for the new season. Unfortunately, we need to go through the dark days of no-football but free agency and the draft will offer a brief respite to that gloom.

Congrats to the Eagles and their fans. Great win.

I think everyone would agree Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL, yeah he didn’t play well in this game but he’s won 3 Super Bowls, 2 MVPs and has had such an excellent career that he’s obviously the best in the NFL right now.
This game sort of reminded me of the Chiefs last Super Bowl loss to the Bucs with how their O-Line got dominated. Eagles played a fantastic game at each level really, and it was impressive that they scored 40 with only 57 rushing yards from Saquon.
