Darren Rovell:

49ers CEO JedYork might look like a teenager, but he’s among the smartest execs in the league. Happy for him.

I remember defending York up and down the ESPN boards a few years ago when virtually everyone wanted an ownership change. Most of which was coming casual misinformed fans who still though the Yorks were cheap.

winning cures a lot of ills, so right now it isn't brought up.

when we were losing year after year, fingers easily point to everyone associated with the 9ers, past and present. so naturally it goes all the way up to the Owner whether it was him or not?

thats what fans do.

Defending him like this:

It was well documented that when Denise & John took over the team, they inherited a mess. Within the financial constrictions they had to work and with the exception of Singletary, John & Jed have a history of making sound decisions, unfortunately some of them crashed and burned in a grand style.

Another decision that John made which is overlooked is the decision to turn over command & control of the team to Jed. It took the young Squire just two short years (technically one) to bring us from obscurity to being one of the best teams in the NFL where we should remain for years to come. I have nothing but respect for the Yorks!

For those of you too young to remember what it looked and felt like the last time we began a dynasty, it looked and felt pretty much like what we are seeing and feeling right now - with an owner, a head coach and a quarterback.

I hated John. I didn't give Jed a fair shot. I was totally wrong on that one. He's been a model exec since taking over.

Alex Smith to take the final kneel down in the Super Bowl

How cool would it be for Kaep and Alex Smith to both be in the back field during the kneel down. That would be awesome and classy.

In the midst of our celebration it seems forgotten that we finally broke the curse of "Win 2 - Lose 1" with our first three-game winning streak of the season! Now, can we make it four!

From Torrey Smith on twitter:

Played a lot of games since my brothers death. Never received as many rude tweets after a win.Yet NE fans cry about class

Nope. This will be too much to overcome. They shouldn't even show up I guess!

Clairvoyant Camel Predicts Baltimore Ravens to Win Super Bowl - ABC News

The Clairvoyant Camel is predicting Baltimore!!??!! - Yep, there is no coming back from that - I agree, showing up is a waste of time - I just hope we didn't lose too badly.

yep, the structure seems in place now, even if we lose a coordinator here and there.

but do need to sustain good drafting, especially from the tail end each round.
