Marshall Faulk on Randy Moss’ claim: “I feel like I’m the greatest RB of all time. I don’t understand. What is he supposed to say?” #SB47

Thank you, Marshall.

Faulk actually has a better case for greatest RB of all time than Moss does for WR.

The over/under on the "Harbaugh hug" afterwards is 7.5 seconds? Whoa, that's high.

Kaepernick's fastball no joke for WR Moss - NFC West Blog - ESPN

Moss suffered the finger injury while catching a pass from Kaepernick during the quarterback's first NFL start, a 32-7 victory over Chicago in Week 11. With that play in mind, I asked Moss if he cranked up the 'Jugs' machine to simulate Kaepernick's velocity. He said it's no use because the machine can't deliver the ball as hard as Kaepernick throws even on its highest setting.

Hmm, I wonder about that.

Of the 106 active players on the #49ers and #Ravens, only 8 have ever played in a Super Bowl. #SB47

I knew something was wrong when Ray Lewis kept talking about a seven point plan for returning to the Super Bowl.

Ok, now that's funny.

Thank you, Marshall.

No idea why this is an issue....He's confident in himself. I think this is way overblown.

Trey Wingo interviewed Jed today on NFL Live for a couple minutes. Here's part of the exchange that I think some people may enjoy to read if they didn't see it already:

Wingo: There was a moment in the season where the coach's instincts had to be proven correct and that was going with Colin over Alex right after Alex had gone 18/19 on a Monday night stage. Be honest with me here. When Jim went to the move, were you nervous at all?

Jed: It was on a Wednesday when I talked to him. It was a Monday night game. Beat the Bears. Colin played great. I asked him, "What's your gut (telling you)?" "He said, 'My gut is telling me Kaep.' You could argue for either one at that point but I think he felt good about it and we went into New Orleans and Kaep played well and obviously I think that gut call paid off."

Mike Clay:

Joe Flacco (10.6) has the NFL's third-highest average depth of throw mark. Colin Kaepernick (10.4) ranks fourth

Flacco and Kaepernick both have 1.7 percent interception rates. The NFL average is 3.2 percent. #Ravens #49ers

Feel like I posted the first one a hundred times already but maybe I am wrong.

Exactly half of Joe Flacco's 30 TDs have been scored by a player originally lined up in the slot in 2012/13. Rate is <double NFL avg #Ravens

Looking at Torrey Smith splits. Guy definitely has a favorite side of the field. Full breakdown in my upcoming Superbowl preview/ranks.

Could be a part of it (Flacco always went rt more than lt), but wasn't severe until 11 and 12

Looking at Flacco to Smith/Boldin/Jones - Chris Culliver is going to be busy on Sunday. #49ers #Ravens

Smith, Boldin, Jones, Doss, Pitta, Dickson - All have much better numbers when lined up to Joe Flacco's right than his left. #Ravens

Most lean that way, but it's literally every player for BAL

Right-handed quarterbacks generally throw more often to guys to their right, but interesting that it's ALL of the Ravens. Rate AND volume.

Superbowl Slot battles: Michael Crabtree vs. Corey Graham ... Anquan Boldin vs. Carlos Rogers . Crabtree the big winner here.

Carlos Rogers covered Tony Gonzalez a bit last week, too. Dennis Pitta can expect similar treatment when he's in slot, SF is in Nickel.

Colin Kaepernick has actually been unlucky in terms of drops this year. 9.4% compared to 6.6% league average. #49ers

Velocity? Has to contribute a bit until they get use to him....

Also the Delanie Walker effect....

Ok, now that's funny.

This is even funnier:

From "The Fake ESPN" on twitter: 49ers new game plan is just to shine headlights in Ray Lewis' eyes.
