Colin Kaepernick answers tattoo questions, talks pressure, orders pizza for the media: Not a bad day | Talking Points

Then Kaepernick ordered pizzas and had them sent to 49ers media trailer. Fifteen of them, from Pizza My Heart, and though I didn’t have a slice (I just ate, Colin!), I can tell you they were eaten by the hordes here and were much appreciated.

Mindi Bach:

The giving mood continues as @kaepernick7 sends 200 Kapcakes to his alma mater, Pitman High School

We need to call an emergency First Take so that Skip can claim that this shows that Kaep is so insecure on his chances to win the game or the MVP that he has to buy the media and, and, how distracting this could be for him to have to decide between pizzas or Subway (easy choice for me) and what toppings go on the pizzas. Is all cheese a waste? Should he at least get pepperoni on each one? But I know a lot of people who just like cheese. One person with no cheese, just sauce. The possibilities are endless! ;)

First Take - ESPN

Go to the 31 minute mark. It's Skip Bayless on why Colin trademarking "Kaepernicking" RIGHT NOW is a bad idea. This ranks way up there on his all-time dumb scale and I can't believe Christian would echo him a little bit. Christian is usually pretty well spoken and a smart thinker. Thank goodness Takeo Spikes, who should be hired by a network the day he retires if he wants, makes some sense.

Don't worry Pozz, Florio's got your back

Kaepernicking Trademarking Hardly a Distraction

If this all works out, the banner will need a little remodeling.

On seeing Colin Kaepernick exceeding expectations:

“It’s awful gratifying. It’s early in this guy’s career. Colin’s a young guy. He’s got nine games under his belt at this stage. But Coach and I were talking about it this morning, and a lot of credit goes to Coach on this as far as the evaluation process, he saw a lot of things in Colin that are starting to come out and was always a big supporter once he saw the film the first time. And certainly, once we got a chance to meet him and work him out in Nevada, it was a young man that Coach really saw some real rare traits within, and really wanted to work with him.”

Even if we win, there will be a tinge of sadness......football is almost over. I'm not a mock draft guy or hobby GM so offseason is pretty much useless to me. Oh well, lets hope it ends on a positive note.

What strides has RB LaMichael James made in not only the last few weeks, but just over the course of his rookie season to be such an impact now?

“Great question. I can still remember the first mini-camp when he showed up coming from Oregon’s offense and just what a difference it was. We’re a team that huddles to start with. That’s the first thing. And they might say one word and that means a play. And they don’t have a lot of plays. They only have a handful of plays. We have literally hundreds of plays. So, it was a bit of an adjustment from that standpoint. But, the bottom line is LaMichael’s a football player. And anything football is not foreign to him. So, while he wasn’t active earlier in the year, he gave our defense a great look in practice, which is very, very important to get the team ready. And he just continued to make strides in understanding the entire offense. And I think he’s looked pretty good out there.”

Didn't get a chance to read this until now. It's possible that there weren't alot of people familiar with James until recently and I wanted to point out what Roman said.

Having finally read all of the Roman transcript now I can say that that was one of the more enjoyable ones I've read with him. Alot of small details but somewhat decent insight. He's really a joy to listen to if you like football in my opinion.
